Students in the Electronics Engineering Department learn basic to applied knowledge in a broad range of electronics fields, such as microcomputer electronic circuit design used to control various electronic devices from digital home appliances, to robots walking on two legs. With a practical training-centered curriculum, this department focuses on having students acquire hands-on techniques and skills, including the skills for maintaining home appliances while understanding their structures; programming techniques for controlling robots; and the skills for designing and constructing networks that enable stable communication.
The Information Engineering Department fosters engineers who can be active in the IT field. To become such an engineer, students first thoroughly learn about PC behavior and mechanisms and acquire practical skills, including those necessary for software design, system development, network design/construction and PC maintenance. The department also fosters original creativity among its students, in order to turn out digital creators who can make the full use of 2D and 3D graphical application software for computer graphics, website design, product design and animation
